thanks for all the well wishes!! The Big Man appreciated all the happy birthdays.

the lemon bar update is that we ate half the pan. i kid you not... The Big Man took a dinner plate full of them and a quart of milk and headed downstairs into his Man Space. he was extremely happy.


i'll post the recipe when i come back in.. but i take no credit whatsoever... more on that when i get inside for good.

for now i'm headed back out. been out since about 6 this morning planting... rushing to get as much done as possible before the weather rolls in.

any of your gals in Indiana/Illinois getting those storms?? i'm just hoping for a good rain to water in everything that i'm going in now.. and maybe an inside day tomorrow. wow! we've done a lot in the last couple of day!

We have been getting a big old rain here most of the day. Just turned into thunderstorms about the last 45 minutes or so. Very little wind however.

Lemon bars huh? My sisters b day is this month I will have to ask her.

My MIL makes a lemon desert that has a cashew crust. Kinda pudding-ish. I lovvvve it.
