I do have a video, but it is for mature audiences only. I'm not sure you cut the cake.

On second thought, I was 17 in that one. So you'll have to wait until I properly learn to pole dance before I do another video.

I really wish for a glass of wine right now. I'd settle for anything else alcoholic.

Aloe vera works wonders on those rashes too. You sound like you have it awfully bad though, BB. Hope you find relief quick.

Hey, I wish I could use my imaginary little chopper to come out and drop by OFG. I got some nice green bean bake just out of the oven and a blackberry-peach pie do to come out in about 10 minutes. I could bring those and then we could have those drinks together. For you I'd even make some real whipped cream to go on top of that pie ;) Yours and mine that is

BibB expected a goat in exchange for some of her jewelweed, so THAT was a no-go. (yeah, you heard me!)
once i actually learn what IS jewelweed and how best to collect it (i'm new to that stuff), i'll be glad to send some your way... goat or not. i'm just that generous!

eta: you know, as soon as i go out collecting jewelweed, that i'm probably going to have to use everything that i collect to get rid of all the poison ivy i get WHILE collecting... silly Murphy's law.

I always miss the parties, dangit. I thought I'd try to be sociable last night and went to a new church home group down the road. I should have know better since it was at a house in the swanky golf course village. Ballantrae Village. I can't believe I live so close to a place like that, but I was here before it was. The house was immaculate and I knew as soon as we walked in that I would never feel comfortable. Oh the people were very nice, but they have golf course green for their back yard, and I have chickens. Not a match.
So, how's everybody feeling this mornin?

I must go to bed way to early. No wait I'm on the left coast. It must be I am making dinner while you lushes are partying it up. :barnie

Sounds like you all had a great time!! Wish I was there.

Blackbird sorry to hear about the poison Ivy. :hugs

I think a chicken tractor on a golf course would be a funny sight. Except that would be torture for the hens. They uses so many chemicals on those lawns. I shudder when thinking of the run off!!!

I never made it to the brandy last night, on my way I passed my bed....soft bed.....pillows........snooze.........

I have a very disgruntled woodpecker who wants the suet.

kind of skunky around here this am. THink I'll haul over to OFG's and help with the chores. Can't harvest potatoes here as it is STILL mud soup in the garden. can't weed for the same reason.

OFG, you probably have some project you could use an extra pair of hand with, don't you?

And bibliophile, the thing with jewelweed is you use it fresh - its is pretty juicy. as far as I know, dried is worthless, kind of like parsley that way.

But, jewelweed has these tiny orange flowers that produce an ity bity seed pod that looks like a slightly curled green bean in miniature. When the pod is dry, and you touch it, is springs open and casts the seeds out. Makes it pretty tricking to get the seed:/ it likes to grow in damp places, and also in cowyards. I've found some down the road and have been watching to try to get the seeds as I would love to have it here.

:caf time for another cup.

happy day, everyone !
