I've read so much about this cake I went back and found the recipe and printed it... it'll be the weekend before I get the chance, but by golly I'm gonna have some "Dont' do it chocolate cake!"

I can't grow cabbage either. Too many bug issues and I don't bother since we can get it at the farm market so cheap. Hmmm, my b-day is coming up, I might have to request dinner at Schmidts.

Rain?? What is this rain that you speak of? I have heard of it from the older generations...but I dont think I remember it. :/ We are in a "dustbowl" The pig runs in his pen....dustcloud...the chickens scratch...dustcloud. UGH! I think I am gonna have to get out there and do an old fashioned rain dance like my ancestors used to do.

Sauerkraut and pork sounds scrumdiddly yum! I still have some kraut in my fridge! I used part of one cabbage and we fed the others to the turkeys.. I knew I should have made one huge batch.
