I fixed the best pot of roasted vegetable soup tonight. I wanted to try before I posted the recipe, but it was really good. I'll post it later. Bacon would have made it much better. Yum.

I bragged too much about our weather and now we have snow. Looks like we are snowed in because anything more than a few inches and our road becomes impassible. I wouldnt' mind except we had my granddaughter's first birthday party to go to!

Well, she is one, so this is really a party for the big people.
We already had a family party for her the other day, so the world won't end if we can't attend. We are a little afraid we would be stuck down there if we went, unable to get back, and we do have just a couple animals here depending upon us. They are predicting more snow for us this afternoon.
