Those are just too cute! I'm not much of a baker, but I think even I could manage these.

So, just curious, wonder if it'd be a workable sitution to try and bake these and when done just pop the lid on and store not in the freezer? Would it keep? Or would the crust get all smushy and gross?

I am not sure of all the options, but I think the original intent is to freeze them raw and cook in the oven when ready to eat.

What a wonderful idea. How many of you are out there slapping your forehead wondering why you did not think of that? I know I am. A big pie is out of the question for just me and DH. Not only is this a perfect make ahead idea for those uh oh, I need something for company moments but for those - Oh heck, I don't have enough blackberries for a pie, moments.

I am liking that idea. Especially for gifts. It doesn't seem like the crust should be any smushier than other store bought pies that are sealed up...if you let them cool anyway.

If you're trying to seal them up for long term storage, i would be very interested in that outcome also. Is that possible?

I actually am a LollyChops stalker. So I've known about these for awhile. I love Our Best Bites. They have really good ideas that are really yummy and very practical for real families. I'm thinking these would be great for my kids to make for people. I'm thinking even my FIL could deal with popping one in the oven once in a while. Though I won't hold my breath.
