*blush* thank you thank you...
its in no way "perfect" the frames are not quite square or the actual hutch isnt quite square, theres a few things that once you get upclose you think...hmmm yeah...lol. BUT its fairly sturdy and plenty of room and im pretty dang proud.

i also realized tomorrow is the day to attempt to palpate the buns...
ive palated dogs and cats but never a bunny so this will be interesting lol.
Yeah I gotta do that too, and honestly, I have never bothered. I want to try it this time though to see if I can feel anything.

its VERY easy once you get a feel for it...you want to put your hand under bun starting at the base of the rib cage and gently but firmly "pinch" finger and thumb togethe on either sid eof the rabbitr...your feeling for marble sized "bits" that have a little bit of squish to them (kinda like grapes)...anything that feels like a BB bullet isnt a babbit...but a small marble sized grape that would most likley be a developing babbit.

in dogs and cats the general method is a little different (they dont have as much abdominal give so your feeling with fingers rather than "pinching" the tummy, but the things your looking for are generally the same lol.
ive known some bun people who are so good they can count the dang things lol.
but i figure itll be fun to practice and once you get good at it it keeps your breeding program alot easier...youll know if a doe is pregnant or not and be able to re-breed so mcuh sooner if shes not without risking double prgnancy or agression to the buck...

its DEFINATLY a good way f thinking buff, and it can be a realy good skill to have when doing a colony, especially when you have a breed where all the does look alike lol

its a good way to make sure you"got everyone" during your planned breeding time, and saves youa good 2-3 weeks in waiting should she be barren as you can rebreed her right away rather than waiting and hoping...
its not a big deal if your breeding for pets to miss a female ect, but when your reying on the meat its always good to be able to rebreed asap should one "miss"

i would, but thats just me, i like to be able to keep track of everyone when they look alike.

some methods i like
koolaid (its 100% safe) make a thick paste or VERY thick liquid with koolaid and water and place a dot, dunk a foot ect...let it sit for a few mins before rinsing. usually fades after a month, a dab of perminent marker on an ear or butt ect is another good method itll need reapplying every so often but it wont do them any harm.

tattoing the buns is a good way to keep track if your willing to check the ears as nessicary but i like being able to see at a distance in a colony setting.
nail polish on a claw is anothe rpopular method, reaply on nail day lol but again its a small thing that youd have to be able to get up close to check whereas having a bright pink green or blue foot or tail or ear is pretty noticable lol
ive found cherry, grape and grape work realy well, blue (i think mixed berry) and green (lemon lime?) tend to need ot be left on a little longer before whiping to get any real intensity...
DONT get koolaid mix on your hands, itll stain for about 2 weeks! lol
my dog was pink for a month...so was i LOL!
