lol, sounds like a character!

more good news..poppy took another 9oz bottle this morning...tried for the extra 3 but she wasnt interested at that point and did fight me...figured i dont want to set her back by force feeding her, especially given that she IS progressing. hoping to get the full 3 9oz bottles into her today. *fingers crossed*

bunnies are 1 week old today and now look like this:
Day76.jpg

The littllest bun.
im 99% sure this little one is a black otter, otter is dominant over black and it does have the ligth ring aroudn the eye and neer the mouth.
if it is this one will look just like daddy.

Broken Black Otter
again being otter is dominant over black it makes sense and you can finatly see eye rings
Day7BrokenBlackOtter.jpg

Heavy Marked Broken Castor
gorgeous full blanket and quite symetrical at this age.

Broken Castor
this one is going to have some beautiful markings! the blanket actually forms a cross down the spine and over the sides
Day7BrokenCastor2.jpg

Broken Opal/Blue Otter?
realy pretty markings
Day7BrokenOpal.jpg

Self Opal/Blue Otter?
this baby is the biggest, infact its a chunker, lookit those wringles!
Day7Opal.jpg

im HOPING the Broken opal/blue otter (gotta figure out if the genetics would be blue or opal, i think opal as theres a orange tinge to the undercoat) is female...if so that one will be staying...
if the broken is male however im hoping the Self Opal is female...in which case that one will be staying. i realy hope at least one of those 2 is a girl!

its also good to know that bigwig carries for dilute!
now just hoping Rowan gives me a nice litter of babies next week (shes due on the 4th) expecting all black otters from that one, but have no idea if shes got blue in her background, if so, could get blue otters too!

poppy took another 9oz for dinner! this is HUGE progress and only 9oz short of where she should be at this age!
:celebrate

in other news...well there is none.
the ducks officially whent outside today, was going to wait untill tomorrow, to be exactly 3 weeks, but put them out for the daytime and by the time i realized what time it was it was already dark and they wenrt interested in being "good" about letting me get them so i decided since temps are over 50 for tonights low im not going to worry about it.
i also made them a new waterer out of a milk jug that seems to be doing a good job of keeping the water contained/cleaner (ill post pics tomorrow)

but yeah that was my very lazy day lol
