that is great news!!
i always have to remind myself that it is only though adversity which we can grow, and that more often than not situations that on face value seem unbearable can turn out to be nothing but a blessing for the choices it has "forced" you to make.
it seems always before a major or sea change in my life am i faced with a situation i could not, or would not have ever wanted, yet things always seem to work out for the best in the end
i wouldnt be here if i hadnt been there
as long as you are true to yourself in the end nothing will stop you
be well

Aly, that's wonderful news, I hope you'll get in there as soon as you can so you can leave the 'family problems' behind.

Oh, Aly! That is wonderful news!!! Don't you just love landlords like that? Good water supply?
Yes, good water! Well water! OH and it is closer to town, so close that I can walk to the library, but still out of town limits, so it's considered country! So, we can farm it!

I mean, it's not like we'll be moving tomorrow or next week, but it will be soon, I hope!

ETA: I'm so happy right now, that what's coming on Monday doesn't even have me scared! Well, I'm just so happy I could cry!

I mean, just think! No more hauling water!!! :D

And you are in ours...there will still be room for the First Ladies and Sam if it comes down to it :D

He does have other places for rent, too :D Want me to ask for you??? (the one down the road from here is $500 a month rent, or $5000 down to buy on land contract!)

What is the work situation in your neck of the woods? The hospital is practically the only place hiring anymore up here. DH's job is in Ashtabula, so definitely not a daily commute!

ETA - we are on 14 day countdown...... ;)

Well, if he likes what he does, I'm sure he can get a job at the local hospital or one of the nursing homes?

There's a place over in New Phila, it's a packaging plant, but I'm not sure what the product is. That's about a 45 minute commute. Um, the local groceries were hiring...Um...

Honestly, I am not sure, but I can check into things if you tell me what he'd want to do, knows how to do, etc.

There's jobs, it's just a matter of finding them.

Maybe the landlord would let you clean up the place INSTEAD of the deposit. Work is money, after all. And you know you'll clean it anyways! Can't hurt to ask! If he knows you, he knows you won't trash it when you leave, either. I can tell that from way over here, so he should be able to see that, up close. ;)

Yippee!

Sounds like great news! :weee Now if there is any problem with having no running water on Monday you can just tell that you are in the process of a MOVE! ... and no more in laws to deal with!
