Are you really willing to give everything up? To let someone run you out of YOUR house, YOUR community, YOUR town?

When I get backed into a corner, it raises the hackles on my neck and I stand firm. C'mon girl, get those hackles up. :D

Start telling all the things they will just HATE about the area!! :D
HAHAHA would try that, but he knows the area as he and DH both grew up here. It's their childhood stomping grounds.

Him I guess I don't mind, but her....

Roosmom, problem is, they own part of the ground I live on, too. Drives me nuts that where we live, the entire family OWNS the property. They could move on here if they so wanted and I couldn't stop them. I should be thankful that they are looking for a place down the road.

Oh and I wouldn't move unless my chooks and goats could go with me!

In other interesting things, took some pics of my chicks in the brooder today. :)

Salmon Faverolles, these are my two standard chicks.

I would tell the evil SIL that you can't WAIT until she is your neighbor!!! Tell her how much fun you can have together and your kids can hang out together and that you are going to tell just EVERYBODY that you are her SIL and what good friends you are! She might just change her mind!   Just pour that honey all over her and kill her with the sweetness! :D

Bee you are so right. That is exacty what I would do too. I read all those SIL rants QA... Now is the time to really get even with her. Tell her how you can't wait so the two of you can spend all your time together. You can even go over to her house for coffee every morning.

You folks are going to get me started on fancy chickens. I was fine with "regular" chickens until I got some Easter Eggers and Light Brahmas. They are so good tempered and those feathery feet on the Brahmas make them look so funny when they walk.

I'm not quite ready for frizzles or silkies though.
