Good prices too. :thumbsup

Laying hens around here go for $20-25. Pretty high imo. But that didn't stop me from getting 3 as soon as I moved here. I wouldn't have done that if I wasn't so desperate for fresh eggs. (I left all my old chickens back in TX with a friend.)

I usually sell pullets for $10-$15, depending on breed and quality of the bird. Pet quality is usually around $10. But, my special birds are more.

Like my Blue Laced Reds. Those are my special projects. I will be selling those chicks for $5 each, started pullets for $20, and the roos will be $15.

Those prices will be the same for my Langshans and Welsummers, too.

Cuckoo Marans and BBS Orps I'll probably sell for less.

Still not sure on prices for Spitzhaubens and my Dominiques yet. These are both from private breeder, not hatchery stock, and the Dominiques are quality examples of the true heritage breed, not hatchery stock.

I've put too much into these birds to just give them away.

Whoa there MP! I have not finished my coffee, it is way too early for a coke. But then again with bacon I guess it is a complete breakfast

Congrats Aly! $80 on your first sale of the year is awesome! :celebrate

I love ducklings! So cute, but they do grow up into messy little critters. I like FF''s suggestion about training your pigs...is that possible?
