What great friends you have!
sounds like a nice trip Annreinbeau said:Better and better, but I have to stay focused and not get ahead of myself. I still have the line in my arm, still on IV meds once a day, but I drove to CVS last night all by my onesies to get a prescription filled. I'm hoping to get the line out next week, my mother and I are going on a road trip to Ithaca, NY, out to Cornell University, for the Northeast District Gathering of the Herb Society, and I'm going, meds or not - I'll bring them with me in a cooler if I have to!
They gave me a mesh type sleeve for my line, but I found it cut into the skin and the cotton sleeve they tried next was so loose it slipped down so I cut the top off one of DH's old sports socks and slipped that on. It works perfectly. It holds the lines up out of the way and, being cotton, it breathes and is very comfortable.reinbeau said:No, Sheri, the line doesn't bother me a bit, either, other than when it sneaks out of the sleeve that holds it, I'm afraid I'll catch it on something! They really are a godsend, for sure, I was so sick and tired of getting stuck constantly for blood tests! I hope you're doing well, too, Sheri. It's tough to get old, isn't it?
