:frow Thanks for all of the pictures! Hope you find that jeep key. Personally, the first place I always look is the freezer :D.

That is me and my family on the event of my older son's graduation from high school. Both sons and Hubby are camera shy so it was a rare event to get a picture of everyone. We ARE missing the granddaughter in this picture though....

Well, we went from freezing rain this morning to 52 degrees tonight. The snow is quickly melting. It looked so odd, like frosting, with the layer of ice on top. I'm sure my animals will appreciate a thaw! Everything will be pretty soggy tomorrow though.

I really feel for all of you hard hit with winter storms. It seems to be so difficult to deal with even with the mild winters we have here....

You all are TOUGH!

stoooopid snow! it started again and this morning it was 1*!!! thats ONE DEGREE.

dang.

personally i always think its hilarious when NYC gets pounded and all of a sudden its the end of the world for the news guys... um.. fellas... we just had that storm, what about us? ha!

oh well.

did you see that yesterday 49 of the 50 states had at least some snow? i just loved that. i guess we are all in good company. my gal friend in seattle makes me send her the weather report every day. she cant fathom the long standing, extra cold temps we have. i think she likes scaring herself - kinda like going on a roller coaster. hee hee hee

happy thursday!

Well no Jeep key yet, but I got a lot of stuff organized. I even found two uncashed CHECKS totalling 200.00! Hubby is going to have a cow when he gets home and sees what I found. I can actually see the FURNITURE on my husband's side of the room today....miracle! He is somewhat of a packrat, I may have mentioned.
Unfortunately now that I've organized him, he will ask me for the next three months where everything is. :he

Sigh.

Warm, wet, windy day here today. I wasn't liking it outside, but was thinking how much better this was than breaking up ice in the water bowls. I was drenched by the time I got to the bunnies, but I was mentally remembering what BB said about the rabbit door freezing shut with manure and counted my blessings for the warm drenching. The wind blew the rain sideways into the hutches however and all their food and hay was ruined. I need to create some sort of windbreak for them.

The goats refuse to come out when it rains like this. They peer out of their goat-barn and can see me when I look out my window. They give me dirty looks when it rains, like it is my fault!
