It seems apparent that while I was typing (and being distracted) she had mentioned messianic Jews. i will look that up as I have never heard that term before. All so interesting!!

Muslim as a religion, no. Muslim as a people group, yes. The Muslims are the descendants of Ishmael through flesh which is the key to understanding how that works, or doesn't. Isaac was the child through which the Son of promise(Christ) would come, who carried on in his father s footsteps as far as relationship with God. Muslims believe that Jesus was simply a prophet. BUT, Jesus is the key to salvation. Faith that the Messiah(Jesus Christ) has come and laid down His life for our sins is salvation. If you do not belive in Jesus Christ as the Messiah, how can He take your sins? The muslims, religious group, does not believe Jesus was who He said He was, and until they do, they can not recieve salvation through Him. Unfortunately. There is only one truth. I love all people, and wish all would come to know God. So, just because I believe this way, does not mean I harbor ill feelings toward Muslims, or any other religious group. That is the TRUE Christian belief system. Confusing those two things though, is why we are so often hated and misunderstoodFarmerJamie said:Okay, first question - so if the Lord has made these promises to Abraham and his descendants, don't Muslims fall under this as well as Jews and Christians?
Come on in! Whenever you are ready. This is open to everybody interested in studying/discussing the biblesheaviance1 said:I just found this, do you mind if I use the off days to catch up and join in Sunday?
I would also like to add that blood is the only pardon for sins. Jews sacrificed animals and Christians have Jesus who died for us, his blood was shed. His blood covers our sins. Muslims do not sacrifice anything nor do they have a savior.....Wannabefree said:Muslim as a religion, no. Muslim as a people group, yes. This is why I fumble around at this stuff. My mind races ahead of my fingers and I'm not clear now in my own mind where I was going with my question....BarredBuff said:I would also like to add that blood is the only pardon for sins.
