What grade does Jr. High start for you guys? 11 yrs old here would be 5th grade. In our school district, the 6 graders have their own schools (yes, very large district) and then Jr. High is 7th and 8th grade. We start next week :weee

If you have a chance, I'd love to see some pics of your meatballs :p

Good morning ya all. (did that sound southern?) :D

I actually answered an add on CL yesterday for a pot. The guy said Restaurant equipment. So I asked if he had any. We will see.

Hey Lori, my son has an Aug birthday. starting him young has been and was a hard decision. But he is a smart kid and doing well. Our jr high/ middle school is 6,7 and 8th grade.

I'll get some pics today.

got to run him to school as we speak, type. :p

be back later.

I snapped a few pics today while waiting for my girls to trudge up the driveway.

This is the traffic mess I am thankful not to have to endure.

Sunflower on the driveway. I am going to need some advice on how best to dry and store these for my chickens.

Bad pic of the meat birds eating scratch. I will find a better pic. They are 7 weeks old and I hope to butcher closer to 11.

Great shots :)

If you have ants on your corn, they are likely eating aphids--if you can get rid of the aphids, the ants will leave too. Ants don't bother corn but aphids will damage the plants.

Sorry I'm no help on getting rid of aphids though, I don't use any sprays or whatever. The only time I ever had aphids they stripped down a big dill plant literally as I watched and once I was sure they weren't on anything else I cut the plant and bagged it up for the garbage--never had any more problems.

Thanks FF. The birds range in color. Some look to be just a shade darker then my Buff's. Others have some black tipped wings. I have to admit. I think I'm going to find another freezer. With the chicken and the turkeys I'm going to need the space . I will need to sneak it in though . :hide
