I'm going to outsource the corn production. I'm thinking 25 dozen ears, 1/3 dried corn, 1/3 canned whole kernel corn and 1/3 frozen.

Greens beans are "out of favor" in the house right now. I have 25 quarts that haven't been touched in 6 months. I have a pound or two of dried black beans from last year - I'm going to try to sprout one or two to test the viability of the seed. I'll can most of those.

I plan on LOTS of corn and wheat for the chookens :)

cool. I also drew up my raised bed garden plan.....
YAY! I just have to figure my second crops into mine since I have such a long growing season, and see if I can actually DOUBLE my production on the same size piece of dirt :D
Im doubling my yields intercroping chook corn and green beans....

How much wheat are you planting?

i'm redoing my plan... again! i love to change it and then i find something elso i wanna grow... and then i forgot one i REALLY want... then i forgot one that i had at the beginning but it got left out of the last plan... my family is like :smack
i'm doing intercropping and secong plantings... so excited!!!:bun

:D Aint it fun to just yank their chain a bit :lol: My family knows by now it's not a set plan until it's finished :lol:
