Got 20 pounds of apples for 44 cents a pound and am slicing them, adding ingredients, putting them in frozen pie shells (2/$1.50), adding crumb topping, and freezing them raw to give as gifts or just hoarde !!!!

My dad was in an accident today (he is 82) and so my time was spent with him. Will do the apples tomorrow.

Thank you SO much. He has leukemia, prostate and bone cancer. His truck and the ability to go places was pretty much all he had left. He is sure he will lose his insurance. He is a good driver, this was a fluke. I really appreciate your prayers for him to find the Lord, as well.

Regarding freezing, this week has been all about applesauce. I usually can it, but the family liked last year's frozen about 10 times more than the canned, so....
