The beast is caught and corralled in the trailer. Sure hope he can't get through the bars. I have temporarily named him Rodeo - because it was WILD!

If this guy escapes I won't even try to catch him. I'll just get the deer hunting neighbor to shoot him. But, I still have to get him from the trailer to the buyers vehicle. That'll be fun...

We may or may not be butchering more than one pig tomorrow. Neighbor asked about maybe getting some meat for a friend of his. I told him that the guy can buy one out-right for a little bit of money. OR - I always give my neighbor half of everything that he helps butcher. I mean, my pigs run on his property and he does the biggest part of the butchering - so I told him he can butcher as many as he feels like and half of the meat is his. He can give it to his friend if he wants. I don't care either way...meat in my freezer and less mouths to feed! No definite answer yet so I'll just roll with whatever happens in the morning.

Two pigs down - whoppie! One big one - one medium-ish. Two less mouths for me to feed so - YAY. Still waiting on the goat to go away. If he's not gone by this evening I'll butcher him too. I'm on a roll, lol. I did half of the big pig and my neighbor did the other half. My neighbors friend - the guy that wanted some meat skinned the smaller one and I dismembered him alllll by myself. That's the easy part if ya ask me. The skinning is the worst and the hardest for me - ugh. They're sitting in an ice chest right now and we'll keep 'em on ice for a several days.
While it's sitting I need to get busy on the freezers. I need to re-arrange and organize them a bit and get some containers like Bay has. I've got two side-by-side refrigerators in the house. I went through one of them a few weeks ago and cleared some space - so it can handle more of a load now. What I want to do is move all the veggies into the freezers that are in the house and put all the meat in the big freezer in the garage.
Lots to do - better get busy....
