The next few days will be crazy busy. Tomorrow is the viewing...6 to 8 pm! This means I have to get the chores finished up early...and I can tell ya the chickens and ducks will NOT be happy! I will have to find them a special treat for the weekend. ( and NO, I dont have goats kidding) :sick We have to be in Ohio by 4:30 pm...my son comes in from Oklahoma....at 8 pm! Dang...had to make arrangements for him to be picked up....I love my neighbor!! We are hopeing to be home by 11 pm....about the time my daughter will be getting here from Evansville. Friday morning we all have to leave by 9 am...funeral is at noon. Hopeing at least we will be able to get home at a decent hour Friday. Going to try to get the garden turned this weekend....next week scheduling surgery on my foot....I think. SLOW DOWN WORLD!!!!

Thanks everyone. This is just another stepping stone in life...and we are going to make it through, and be stronger ( hopefully not hardened) from it. Time to focus on the upcoming planting season. Have to get the old mind a goin...in a different direction! I just worry about my hubby...he has never lost a family member, that was close. He really is taking this so hard..being he was a "momma's boy". As we were leaving yesterday...his dad came out to the truck with a bag...said he wanted me to have it. I opened it...and there was my MIL 32 pistol. :/ Bitter sweet. I am going to clean it tomorrow...and shoot off the 6 rounds it holds....in her memory. She loved that gun!
