Hi Deb, can you send me a piggy, we'll have sausage in the fall for sure if you do!!

I have had sprout do that, and then a cold spell was just what they needed to produce some goodies.

Hey J, Well, if cooler weather is what they want...that's what they get. Next week...highs in the 70's!!! Wooohoo!!! Lows in the 50's! I am going to air out this house, and enjoy the perfect sleeping weather. I just HAVE to have my sprouts!
I wish you were closer, I would definitely let you have one. They are PB pigs, but pork is pork, right!?? LOL Altho....I heard all they are good for is sausage. Hey, I like me some sausage!

08:30. Chickens, turkeys, ducks, and goose are fed, watered, and let out for the day. 10 pens! I seriously need to downgrade a bit! :/ Fed the piggies, donkeys, sheep, goats, and milked. Those little PB pig babies are getting way too cute! NOW I know why people want them while they are small. :love I just wish they KEPT them.
Got the milk put up, and headed to the garden. I Was able to pick a few pints worth of green beans, and about 10 tomato's. Oh, and of COURSE, cucumbers. Do these plants ever stop producing?? :th I can't even GIVE them away anymore! Everyone is cucumbered out. :gig I need to get a few loads of laundry on the line this morning....then head to town. Sunday we will be going to the in laws for the "last cookout of the season" We are in charge of buns, chips, and of course, deviled eggs. I am planning to make a custard pie as well. :drool The last one I made, hubby and I demolished it in a day! I could feel the pounds packing on! LOL Made another batch of mozz cheese last night, to take to the cookout. Today, can green beans, tomato's, and hopefully...if it doesn't get too hot, make more cheese. Supposed to be near 100 again today...then, a major cool down...temps in the 70's for next week. :weee

It's hot here, too. In the 90's, but I'm not complaining. Yet.

I will admit that our day is just started and I'm already ready for bed lol Too much to do tho! Need to get the new carseat assembled, clean the livingroom, pack my bag, and do some laundry! :D

Its hot here too, I have canned 4 quarts of ketchup, 15 quarts of sketti sauce. My cost per quart is $1.54, I grew the herbs, garlic, and maters for less than 25 dollars and they will keep producing. I expect to get 15-20 quarts from each plant. I am still canning on my outdoor gas grill.

The store price for organic sketti sauce here is just under $4 a quart. What is even better, I know and touched everything that was put into the jar. I think I washed my hands... :p
