lol. I lost an the "l" keyoff my dell laptop. Was just typing along and it went flying. It was under warranty thankfully and was replaced for free.

I realized how many times I use the "l"- lots!

Aww, so sorry to hear about the ducks. I had 5 hatch, I sold 2 today. Well...didnt really "sell" them, I bartered them off...a neighbor girl wants to show them in 4H, I need my barn cleaned out! LOL

so its SUMMER! whoot! and i mean, baby, it was actually hot today in town. the bank said 84* but out here it seemed cooler.

it was a blue sky day and i was actually sweating while i was out there weeding the onions. i took the dog for a swim and wow does he stink like..like.. well a wet dog. i got a few things done after church..but first we took that no-good tiller back to lowes (they were very nice about exchanging it for one that actually works) and so i'm ready for action tomorrow.

as for now, Mollee the duck is toddlin around the grass, the hens are out for their 'late afternoon peck', Turkey Bob is out doing this and that.. and the barn cats a silly-ing it up under the truck. not a bad afternoon.

i've got a few more minutes before i need to go and squeeze those goats and i'm sitting here enjoying the show. and the smell of the mint right next to the front porch.

Except for the tiller (boy, Lowes isn't doing well by SS today, are they? Well, customer service seems to have been pretty good) sounds like you had an awesome day!

yeah. stupid lowes. but yes they did a great job. i was sweating it for a minute b/c i forgot my wallet and didnt have ANYTHING.. no drivers license, credit cards nada... but the gal was really great and DIDNT issue a refund on the cc, then re-bill it... so whew!

but a disappointment for sure - especially after spending all that money! but the tiller worked really well for that 15 minutes..

i'm totally ready for action tomorrow. i'm fryin' up a huge slab of ham and green beans then i'm going to bed and dreaming of tilling and planting.. and finding that guinea hen who we think is settin' somewhere... hum....

Asphalt & concrete totally soak up heat, so it really was hotter in town.

There's the cure for that global warming thing, tear up the asphalt, plant more flowers, grass & trees
